Remuneration: Pro-rata of $123,138 - $146,228 pa Level B (plus 17% employer superannuation) or Pro-rata of $150,841 - $173,931 pa Level C (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join as a Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow and contribute to research that strengthens health outcomes for rural and regional communities. The position will support key research priorities including rural health workforce and training and health service delivery models. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team until December 2026, with the potential for a further extension subject to renewed funding.

The role will lead research activities that support rural health priorities, including evidence synthesis, research outputs and supervision of higher degree research students. The position will contribute to collaborative partnerships, external funding opportunities, research leadership and multidisciplinary initiatives that advance rural health outcomes.

We are seeking someone with a doctoral qualification or equivalent research experience, with a demonstrated record of research excellence relative to the expectations of the level of position (Level B or C). Experience securing external funding, producing high-quality research outputs, leading research teams and supervising postgraduate research within a multidisciplinary environment will also be highly regarded.
