The Opportunity

Join a role that makes a meaningful difference to rural healthcare across Victoria. As the Senior Administrative Officer, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Gippsland and North West Victoria Regional Training Hubs, helping deliver programs and initiatives that strengthen the rural medical workforce and enhance training and career pathways for junior doctors.

Working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including medical students, junior doctors, hospitals, health services, government agencies and Medical Colleges, you will coordinate events, manage bursary programs, support training activities, prepare reports, administer projects and ensure the smooth operation of meetings and committees. Your ability to build strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service will be key to your success.

This is a varied and rewarding role suited to a highly organised professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities, driving continuous improvement and contributing to projects that have a lasting impact on regional communities. Occasional travel across Gippsland and North West Victoria will provide opportunities to engage directly with stakeholders and support the delivery of important workforce initiatives.

Travelling to various University campuses may be part of the position, and possessing a valid driver's license is crucial for performing the responsibilities.

Monash University seeks applicants for this opportunity who are able to demonstrate present valid and current Australian work rights.
