The Opportunity
As the Senior Manager, Operations, Analytics and Business Improvement, you will be the driving force behind the operational, analytical and continuous improvement engine of the Talent, Reward and Mobility (TRM) Centre of Expertise. You’ll lead the teams and frameworks that keep our workforce and talent services running smoothly, efficiently and with a strong data‑led foundation.
In this role, you’ll shape enterprise workforce analytics, oversee multi‑functional operational teams, and drive major process, systems and service improvements. You’ll partner closely with COE leaders, HR Business Partners, Digital and Technology teams and key vendors to deliver a modern, integrated and high‑performing function.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent, Reward and Mobility, you'll lead a team of 13 staff and play a central role in strengthening service quality, operational maturity and insight‑driven decision‑making across the University.
About You
You’re an experienced operational leader who thrives in complex environments and knows how to bring clarity, structure and momentum to large‑scale HR functions. You combine strong analytical capability with the confidence to lead high‑performing teams and influence senior stakeholders. You’re skilled in simplifying and standardising processes, leveraging technology to improve service outcomes, and driving continuous improvement across diverse operational areas.
Your commercial acumen and experience managing vendor relationships enable you to deliver value and strengthen service performance. With relevant qualifications and equivalent senior‑level experience in a large organisation, you bring the judgement, credibility and strategic mindset needed to shape a modern, data‑led and service‑oriented HR operating model.
