The Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Manager, Strategy and Planning, with a dotted line to the Faculty Associate Dean of Indigenous Engagement the focus of this role will be to operationalise the Faculty of Engineering's Indigenous Strategy. This includes arranging and coordinating programs to foster an Engineering pathway into higher education for First Nations people, building meaningful relationships with First Nations communities, and supporting initiatives that embed Indigenous knowledge and perspectives into the Faculty’s operations.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for supporting the Faculty’s Aboriginal Community Engagement and capacity building activities and programs with partner Indigenous communities in accordance with best practice and University policies, procedures and strategic priorities.

The appointee will have:
● A degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or
● extensive experience and project management expertise; or
● an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
