The Opportunity
We are seeking a Clinical Site Administrative Officer to support the delivery of the Medical Student Program within the School of Translational Medicine, based at The Alfred Centre.
This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of clinical year programs, providing high-quality administrative and operational support to academics, students and professional staff. You will play a key role in coordinating processes, managing data, supporting stakeholders and ensuring an exceptional student and staff experience.
About the role
Reporting to the Director, Medical Student Education (School of Translational Medicine), you will:
- Deliver high-quality administrative services supporting the clinical years medical program
- Coordinate operational processes, including scheduling, reporting and committee support
- Manage and maintain data systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance
- Provide timely advice and support to students, academics and stakeholders
- Respond to enquiries and resolve issues with a strong customer service focus
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service excellence
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders
About you
You are a proactive and detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. You bring strong organisational skills, sound judgement and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
You will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in administration and coordinating operational processes
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- A commitment to excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High-level computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and data systems
