The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Operations Officer who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working with stakeholders to get things done.

In this role, you will provide professional administrative and operational support that enables the effective functioning of Monash Business School’s departments and business units. You will play an important role in delivering core services, including coordination of procurement and resource management, support for facilities and space planning, and day-to-day operational issue resolution.

You will manage operational tasks such as maintaining data and records, processing purchases, coordinating equipment and maintenance requests, and ensuring services are delivered in line with university processes and standards. You will also support committees and projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on service excellence and efficient operations.

A key part of the role is working with stakeholders to understand their needs, troubleshoot enquiries, and provide accurate and timely advice. You will build effective relationships across the School and apply sound judgement to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
