The Opportunity

Velos comes from the Greek word for “arrow” - a symbol of precision, momentum and forward motion. It reflects our mission to propel health innovations forward with velocity and purpose, cutting through complexity to reach real world impact. Velos Accelerator is a hub and ecosystem for healthcare innovation aligned with cardiovascular, kidney and metabolic diseases, integrated with Clayton’s Victorian Heart Hospital precinct.

We are seeking a Training Program Coordinator to provide high-level coordination and administrative support across entrepreneurship education and capacity building programs. This role ensures the seamless delivery of program activities, including pre-program engagement, client approvals, preparation of materials, logistics and evaluation. The position also plays an important part in the success of projects and events while managing the day-to-day operational needs of the Program team.

Working closely with colleagues and clients, the Training Program Coordinator will draw on strong project management and organisational skills to ensure programs are delivered on time and to a high standard. The role includes coordinating complex processes, preparing reports, supporting committees and managing competing priorities while meeting both client and internal expectations. A commitment to service excellence, confidentiality and continuous improvement is key to supporting the success and impact of Velos’s programs.

The position calls for excellent project and administration skills and the ability to develop and implement effective systems that support program delivery. Success in this role will be underpinned by strong organisational skills, a commitment to service excellence and the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.

If you are motivated by supporting education and capacity building programs and have the skills to ensure their success, we encourage you to apply and join our team at Velos.
