The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Clinical Trials Partnerships Manager to help grow and elevate the impact of the Monash University Clinical Trials Centre (MUCTC). In this role, you will cultivate partnerships across the health and life sciences sectors, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the delivery of world-class clinical trials in collaboration with industry and health partners.
This is a unique opportunity to combine relationship-building, strategic thinking, and business development expertise in a mission-driven environment focused on improving global health outcomes through clinical research.
About the Role
MUCTC is an academic research organisation at Monash University that supports high-impact clinical trials through expert design, delivery and translation. As Clinical Trials Partnerships Manager, you will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to secure new projects, drive commercial success, and foster long-term partnerships with biotechnology companies, hospitals, research organisations and government bodies.
You will represent MUCTC at networking events, develop client proposals, contribute to grant submissions and support the delivery of innovative and compliant trial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with external stakeholders
- Identify growth opportunities and support business development activities
- Prepare proposals, funding bids and commercial models
- Represent MUCTC at key industry events and forums
- Provide insights and reports to support clinical trials strategy
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- A postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in business or clinical trials
- Proven success in partnership or business development roles
- Strong writing skills for proposals and strategic documents
- Excellent relationship management and communication abilities
- A solid understanding of clinical trials or the life sciences sector
