The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive Director, Marketing, the Director of Content is responsible for overseeing the development of a new function with the vision to create a modern content engine room that drives engagement internationally. The appointee will lead a team of specialists responsible for ensuring that content is designed, produced and distributed in a way that is aligned with the organisation’s brand and strategic goals. Establishing streamlined processes infused with technology, the role will optimise the content creation and distribution pipeline to maximise impact across multiple marketing and communication channels.

About You

A forward-thinking leader, you are inspired by the opportunity to create new capabilities which leverage technology and harness human talent. Strategic and visionary with modern practice skills, you have a strong track record of developing and implementing effective multi-media content strategies which consistently meet audience expectations. Together with exceptional interpersonal skills including at senior levels, you have deep leadership and management experience and are adept at fostering a sense of common purpose connected to an organisation’s vision. With deep operational capabilities which span workforce planning, service delivery and budget management experience, you have technical knowledge of content management systems, digital marketing tools, and design platforms (e.g. Canva, Bynder, ASANA). Importantly, you are motivated to drive positive change.
