The Opportunity

As the Senior Manager, you will lead a dynamic team to design and implement high-impact recruitment and conversion campaigns tailored to international student cohorts. Working collaboratively with Group Managers, faculty teams, and recruitment specialists, you will ensure that each market benefits from strategically aligned strategies to enhance student engagement and enrolments.

The position provides leadership to the International Student Recruitment Campaigns and Conversion team in the delivery of high-level, professional services and effective achievement of UMAC’s priorities and provides expert advice at both strategic and operational levels.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Drive impactful student recruitment through innovative campaigns and conversion strategies, maximising and optimising student recruitment applications and conversion
  • Lead and manage the operation of complex administrative or technical functions and business systems involving significant resources
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team with a strong customer focus
  • Foster continuous improvement in business practices, processes, and service delivery
  • Manage and oversee risk, compliance and quality assurance processes for the functions managed, including regular monitoring and reporting in accordance with University and legislative requirements
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across business units and key stakeholders

About you

  • Proven experience in international student recruitment, marketing, conversion or campaign management
  • In depth knowledge of the global higher education market including experience in international Student Recruitment, knowledge of conversion principles and demonstrated ability in managing the priorities and commitments of complex teams
  • Strong leadership skills with staff management experience
  • Advanced analytical skills to rapidly assess challenges and deliver innovative solutions
  • Proven ability to manage teams and provide expert technical and policy advice at senior levels
  • Skilled in team motivation and achieving KPIs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
