The Opportunity

Monash HR is seeking HR Officers to join our Casual Workforce team. In this role, you will provide expert advice on HR policies and processes, efficiently manage high-volume HR activities with precision and professionalism, ensuring a smooth employment lifecycle for sessional and casual staff across the University.

The Casual Workforce team within Monash HR is dedicated to providing exceptional operational support across a variety of processes throughout the employment lifecycle for sessional and casual staff at the University.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and delivering a range of administrative tasks related to casual and sessional employment
  • Provide high levels of customer service and advice on HR policy and processes
  • Maintain service standards, privacy, confidentiality and compliance requirements
  • Perform data analysis and ensure effective record management
  • Participate in and implement continuous improvement activities relating to service practices, quality assurance, and customer service excellence

About You

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Prior HR Administration experience is desirable
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to manage operational HR processes
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage time and meet deadlines
  • A customer-focused mindset with a hands-on approach to service delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
