The Opportunity

As the Digitisation Lead, you'll spearhead the Library's digitisation service, ensuring our Special Collections are discoverable and accessible to a global audience. You'll manage the Neil Campbell Digitisation Centre and lead a dedicated team, driving strategic and operational activities to bring our collections to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Library’s digitisation framework and annual projects.
- Lead and develop a high-performing, collaborative team.
- Innovate and improve digitisation processes for maximum efficiency and quality.
- Ensure user-focussed services are adapted based on feedback and data.
- Conduct research and data analysis, reporting to key stakeholders.
- Manage risk, compliance, and quality assurance processes.
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Postgraduate qualifications in librarianship, information management, or a related field, or extensive relevant experience.
- Proven operational management skills and the ability to provide expert advice.
- Experience in staff management and team development.
- Expertise in digitisation technologies and innovative service delivery.
- Strong planning, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
