The Opportunity
The Administrative Officer plays a pivotal role in driving the success of Global and Women’s Health initiatives, offering an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of impactful global health research and international collaborations. This dynamic position involves delivering exceptional administrative support by managing communications, organising meetings and events and assisting committees and working groups. Through effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders, the Administrative Officer ensures smooth operations and contributes directly to advancing meaningful global health outcomes.
This role demands exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing schedules, correspondence and stakeholder interactions. The Administrative Officer will offer expert advice, guidance and support across diverse responsibilities, including calendar management, travel arrangements, financial reporting and budget monitoring. Additionally, they will oversee communication workflows and ensure the smooth coordination of project administration to support organisational goals effectively.
We are seeking someone with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and extensive expertise in global public health research. The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, effective time management and a strong dedication to building and maintaining positive research relationships with diverse stakeholders. Outstanding administrative abilities and a proven capacity to implement efficient operational processes are essential for success in this role.
