Remuneration: $135,417 - $143,738 pa HEW Level 09 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about driving substantial carbon emission reductions across Australia? Do you have the expertise to influence policy and create meaningful change? Climateworks Centre is looking for a dynamic individual to develop, manage and support high-profile interventions that shape policy and drive decarbonisation in heavy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, Manage and/or Support Policy Interventions: Plan, scope, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful policy outcomes.
  • Develop Influence Plans: Create and implement strategies to advance Climateworks' policy priorities.
  • Build Relationships: Engage with government, business, community groups, and research organisations.
  • Identify Opportunities: Seek partnerships and prepare a variety of documents  to support Climateworks' mission.
  • Communicate Research: Actively contribute to presenting Climateworks' ideas to policy influencers and senior executives.
  • Provide Strategic Advice: Support the development of Climateworks' strategy and policy plans.
  • Share Knowledge: Ensure Climateworks is across climate, energy, and industry policy developments.
  • Foster Positive Culture: Demonstrate leadership values and influence organisational culture.
