The Opportunity
Join the Eastern Health Clinical School as Senior Planning Officer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of medical student programs at the school. This position is responsible for the comprehensive coordination and administration of these programs across multiple teaching sites, ensuring that schedules, rosters and educational activities are well-organized and of the highest quality. In this role, the Senior Planning Officer will oversee all aspects of program logistics, ensuring efficient operations that support the academic success of medical students.
In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the Senior Planning Officer will work closely with key stakeholders to align student rotations with curriculum requirements. This role is also responsible for coordinating assessments, exams, student allocations and recruitment of examiners and simulated patients, ensuring that all aspects of student evaluation are handled with precision and care.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in planning and management, ideally within a fast-paced academic or healthcare setting. Strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities and a demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality service are also essential.
