Remuneration: $80,603 - $92,585 pa HEW Level 05 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

Our Finance Operations group is responsible for the management of transactional expenditure and revenue. This includes the purchasing/payment for goods and services, corporate debt collection and management, bank reconciliation and cashiering services

We are seeking a Senior Payment Services Officer to join our team in providing high-quality administrative service to support the effective operation of the Payment Services Division. You will have previous exposure to applying tax laws, policies and the highest standard of customer service. 

Some key areas of focus include:

  • Providing excellence in operational administrative and accounting process and judgement
  • Providing sound and timely advice to support all stakeholders, including students, academics, professional staff, vendors and the general public
  • Implementing a range of services relating to quality expense management service delivery and vendor payment services
  • Accounts payable duties such as processing overseas and local supplier invoices, payroll payment and accounting documentation
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in accordance with University policy and procedures, taxation and auditing requirements
