Climateworks Centre is an expert, independent adviser, acting as a bridge between research and action to accelerate the transition to net zero emissions for Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The Opportunity

Shape the Future of Sustainability Education: Join Climateworks Centre as a Program and Business Lead.

Are you ready to lead the charge in sustainability education? We’re seeking a Program and Business Lead to spearhead our innovative professional education initiative, designed to empower both the public and private sectors with essential net zero knowledge and skills.

About the Role:

  • Strategic Impact: Play a key role in driving our cross-institute program, aligning with our strategic and business objectives
  • Leadership: Manage development timelines, drive business development and sales, and ensure financial targets are met
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the Head of Program Delivery at Climateworks Centre and the Director of Education at MSDI to launch an exciting new suite of education products

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the creation and implementation of a cutting-edge professional education offering in the climate change and net zero space
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the strategy for our education products, ensuring alignment across teams and maintaining business performance
  • Innovation: Take charge of the creative process, from generating ideas to prioritising them to meet key business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate activities across various teams to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Team Development: Mentor and manage a team of professionals to achieve outstanding business outcomes

Who You Are:

  • Educated and Experienced: With a postgraduate qualification in business management or a related field, and with extensive experience in program management and business development and the management and delivery of professional education
  • Skilled Leader: Adept at managing educational product lifecycles from ideation to launch, with a keen eye for seizing market opportunities
