Current Opportunity: Finance Graduate
Join Aurizon as a Finance Graduate and play a key role in supporting financial performance and commercial decision‑making across a nationally distributed business unit.
In this role, you will work closely with Finance Managers and Commercial Finance teams to support financial consolidation, reporting, analysis, and business insights, while gaining exposure to commercial finance activities such as forecasting, modelling, and investment analysis. You will help ensure financial results are accurate, understood, and translated into meaningful insights for operational and senior stakeholders.
Through structured rotations and on‑the‑job learning, you will develop a strong understanding of how finance supports operational strategy, commercial outcomes, and investment decisions in a complex, asset‑intensive business.
About you
You will have completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce, with a strong interest in how finance supports commercial performance and decision‑making. You are curious, analytical and adaptable, and enjoy working with data to understand what drives business outcomes. You can communicate financial information clearly and are keen to build a career across commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering roles.
