Aurizon’s Bulk division is embarking on a transformative and ambitious growth journey, with plans to double the size of the business by 2030. We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Managers to lead and inspire change, driving key initiatives that will propel this remarkable expansion.

This role is perfect for a professional with a growth mindset who wants to be part of this dynamic and rewarding journey.

  • Take the project through Feasibility, Details Design and Delivery. 
  • Develop project management plans, inclusive of but not limited to sections describing scope management, cost management, schedule management and quality management. Where required, establish a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) as well as budget and schedule baselines.  
  • Manage, monitor and control all project activities in accordance with the project management plan as well as any related functional, operational or legal requirements. 
  • Report to the Program Manager, Senior Management and other stakeholders on project progress, with particular emphasis on actual and potential variations to cost, time or quality. 
  • Finalise projects on completion which may include transfer of assets, closure of project financial systems, conducting of project audit. 

In respects to the technicalities, you’ll need: 

  • Extensive project management expertise, particularly within large-scale and complex organisations, with a preference for candidates with a transport or logistics background.
  • High level of skill in the development of common goals and strong working relationships between senior managers, key internal and external stakeholders and operational staff.
