    Marketing Specialist in Long Beach

    Under the direction of the Director of Student Affairs Communications & Marketing, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for increasing awareness, understanding, and utilization of campus support resources among students, at CSULB. This position supports and collaborates with all Student Affairs programs, with a primary focus on Beach Wellness (Counseling & Psychological Services and Rising Tides, Student Health Services, Safer, and the CAST mobile crisis team) by developing and executing strategic, data-informed, and student-centered marketing initiatives. Using current and innovative digital and print marketing strategies, the specialist creates compelling content that resonates with a college student audience, ensures consistent messaging across platforms, and leverages data and marketing best practices to effectively connect students with essential resources that support their academic success and overall well-being. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with students to write, produce, and create content for high visibility. The incumbent will stay updated on media trends in the higher education landscape and bring new and innovative ideas to CSULB. By upholding accessibility standards, supervising student assistants, and facilitating cross-departmental partnerships, the specialist contributes to the enhancement of communication efforts and the promotion of equity and inclusivity across campus.
