Adjunct Instructors needed to teach courses in the Surveying Engineering program. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester, by semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is February 2025 at the earliest and August 2025 at the latest. Required: Bachelor's degree in the discipline. Professional Surveyors License (current or expired but not revoked). 3 years of professional work experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Assistant Professor of Social Work in Multiple Locations
The Ferris State University Social Work Department in Big Rapids Michigan invites applications for a tenure-track position. Teaching online and in-person in the MSW program with some BSW opportunities and in Big Rapids with some opportunity to teach in Traverse City or other sites, as needed. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. While supporting and encouraging research, Ferris State University is primarily a teaching university. We encourage candidates with substantial clinical and research experience who are interested in teaching and mentoring our next generation of social workers. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching, the ability to work effectively with both faculty colleagues and diverse student populations, and participation in other department/college and University academic activities. The start date of this position is August 2025. Required: Ph.D. in Social Work or a DSW from a CSWE accredited institution. Candidate must have/or be eligible and apply for a Michigan Social Work License upon hire. Two years of post-MSW clinical practice experience in the field. Candidate must demonstrate potential for higher education teaching excellence and the ability to work effectively with both the faculty and students.
