MiLEAP-OST Project Specialist (Grant-Funded, 9-Month Temporary Position) in Big Rapids, MI 49307
The MiLEAP-OST Project Specialist will oversee the implementation of the MiLEAP-OST Grant at Ferris State University, ensuring that all grant-funded initiatives meet compliance requirements and provide high-quality learning opportunities in mathematics, reading, and science. This 9-month temporary position requires strong program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and grant management skills to support educational programming and ensure effective collaboration with school and community partners. The anticipated start date for this position is April of 2025. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Required: Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years full-time of experience in program coordination, grant management, or a related area. Two years part-time is equivalent to one year full-time. Experience collaborating with educational institutions, community organizations, or similar entities.

Adjunct Instructor 1 - Exercise Science in Multiple Locations
This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed on a semester-by-semester basis to teach lecture and laboratory classes for students for the Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science degree. The qualified applicants for this pooled position will be a First Aid CPR Instructor certified through the American Heart Association. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Potential courses include Introduction to Exercise Science, Introduction to Fitness and Wellness, and First Aid and Emergency Management. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2025 at the earliest and January of 2026 at the latest. However, these are estimated dates and can be revised if needed. Required: Master’s degree in Exercise Science or closely related field (e.g. Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Athletic Training, or Human Performance). Adjunct Instructor 1 - Automotive Engineering Technology in Big Rapids, MI 49307
Teach AAS degree level coursework in the College of Engineering Technology. Depending on qualifications, subjects taught could include manual drivelines, brakes, electrical, engines, steering and suspension, electronic fuel management, chassis electrical, automatic transmissions, heating ventilation and air conditioning, service area or automotive machining. A focus on student success is expected. Office hours are required with at least one hour for each class taught. Use of current technology is expected. This is a pooled position. The Department of Construction Technology & Management invites applications for a 9-month, tenured-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level. Primary responsibilities include teaching and advising students in a four-year BS Construction Management program (accredited by the American Council for Construction Education – ACCE) and in two separate two-year AAS programs – Building Construction Technology and Civil Engineering Technology.
