Position Title (Classification Title):  Information Aide- Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site, Student Assistant
Job Summary: Position interacts with the public on a daily basis and exhibits excellent customer service. The duties and responsibilities include walking the historical and archaeological mill site, opening/closing facilities, and working at visitor service desks. Position will interface with the public, answer questions, conduct site tours, and assist with light cleaning.

Position is responsible at visitor service desks for answering visitor questions, running a register, selling merchandise, admissions tickets, and memberships. Position is 6-13 hours per week. Shifts are 9:30-4:15 on Fridays and Saturdays. This position has potential for additional hours at the downtown Historic Pensacola campus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit. Applicants may be a student at UWF or any other college, university or high school. A student enrolled at an institution other than UWF must provide proof of attendance by submitting a registration/fee payment receipt from the school they will attend.

Preferred Qualifications Interest and knowledge in local history, experience working with children, ability to speak effectively to the public preferably to groups of 25 people or larger. Experience with a point of sale system.
