The Hall Director reports to a Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) and collaborates with their supervisor to shape the environment and experiences of residential students by providing services and programs.
All positions within the Housing & Residence Life department begin with mandatory training in mid-July each year. This is a full-time training which runs through early August. All assistantships require some scheduled night and weekend obligations per semester. These obligations can be associated with major department events, including, but not limited to: move-in weekends and hall closing days. As with any live-in position, staff members are also responsible for handling crises as they occur within or outside of office hours. These assistantships will average 30 hours per week over the course of the academic year. |

Residence Life Graduate Assistant for Programming and Assessment (Fall 2025/Spring 2026) | Pensacola - Main Campus | |
The Graduate Assistant for Programming and Assessment reports to the Residence Life Coordinator (RLC). This position provides support and oversight within the department for the creation, completion, and assessment of programming efforts and marketing initiatives for Housing & Residence Life. This position also oversees the hiring, training, and daily operation of a desk staff within each community.
This position does not oversee a designated community, however it may be called to serve and assist in various housing processes which include, but are not limited to: opening, closing, health & safety checks, marketing, assessment, and various committees on campus.

The Graduate/Teaching Assistant will assist with departmental efforts related to creating opportunities to connect with and support UWF students in their path to career readiness. These efforts include assisting with the organization and facilitation of departmental programming initiatives including training, meetings and events; assisting in the creation of marketing and communications materials used to promote departmental programs, assisting with professional development/soft-skills instruction (provide professional level instruction under the direct supervision of a faculty supervisor), research and data analysis, collaborating with campus partners, and other duties as assigned. |

Student Assistant - Parking Patroller | Pensacola - Main Campus | |
Student Patrollers (SP’s) are primarily responsible for enforcing parking regulations by way of issuing vehicles citations or by attaching vehicle boots.
They patrol parking lots and report the existence of hazardous conditions.
Patrollers mainly work outdoors and must become familiar with UWF Parking Regulations.
Other duties include, but are not limited to: Answering parking-related questions in the office, organizing and issuing parking permits, assisting at the Visitor’s Center, assisting in traffic and crowd control for events on campus, removing and replacing signs, and other parking services related tasks. |

Student Information Aide - Historic Pensacola - Pool Posting | Downtown Pensacola | |
The department is building an applicant pool for student employment as an Information Aide and Lead Information Aide. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis.
Position interacts with the public on a daily basis and exhibits excellent customer service. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: conducting public and school tours on a daily basis, dressing in historical clothing and participating in the living history program, working at visitor service desks, opening and closing of facilities as needed, and light cleaning. Outdoor physical labor in inclement weather is required for living history positions.
Position is responsible at visitor service desks for answering visitor questions, running a register, selling merchandise, admissions tickets, and memberships.
Position is 6-24 hours per week. Shifts are 9:30-4:15 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and 12:00-4:15 on Sunday. Additional hours may be available.
Lead Information Aide: responsible for opening and closing the buildings and assisting staff with daily operations. |
