Research Assistant Professor Blacksburg, Virginia
Applications are invited for a full-time Research Assistant Professor position in Virginia Tech's Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The successful candidate will be affiliated with Wireless@VT and will contribute to foundational and applied research in wireless communication systems. Representative areas of focus include: (i) Artificial intelligence and machine learning for next-generation wireless networks, (ii) Foundations of semantic communications and age of information, (iii) Stochastic geometry and spatial modeling of large-scale wireless systems, and (iv) Next-generation positioning, navigation, and timing. The selected candidate will also support research proposal development, dissemination, and student mentoring efforts within a dynamic research group.
