We are looking for someone to join our Product Validation Team on an Engineering Trainee scheme. The purpose of the role is to develop and deliver software used for monitoring the reliability of F1 Powertrains across trackside and factory environment, and be responsible for analysing data to assess the heath and performance of F1 powertrains. You will generate and distribute reports of these findings to the wider business, all whilst building a foundational understanding the F1 powertrain subsystems.

Be skilled at…

  • Producing high quality MATLAB code
  • Performing critical review of data
  • Developing and creating new and innovative analysis methods, processes & tools
  • Working in a multi-functional team

Hold these qualifications...

  • Degree with 2:1 classification or above in a relevant subject e.g. Software, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics etc.)

Be...

  • Determined, committed and self-motivated.
  • Data driven with high attention to detail.
  • Proactive.
  • A team player.

Success in this role will be if you…

  • Improve efficiency through updating of software tool and process.
  • Manage and develop tools to monitor engine operational limits and operate within the proven envelope
  • Interact closely with Product Engineering, Calibration & Controls and Trackside teams to ensure the reliability and performance of F1 Powerunits.
