About the Role
In this short term role you will be working within the Parks & Gardens team and will be reporting directly to the Coordinator Tree Management. The primary function of this role is to support the Tree Management Unit with the gathering, management and analysis of data relating to works performed by the unit. You will be required to assist with various projects, including creation/setup of reporting templates, assessing and organising training for the Tree Management Crew and review the Service Level Agreements (SLA) within the unit.

This is a Temporary four month (Full Time) position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Control the data generated by the tree inspection program and tree uplifting program to ensure inspections are accurately recorded on ARCGIS.
  • Assist with the development of the Tree Asset database and Maintenance Management System and manage the collection of tree asset data.
  • Control and edit tree asset data to create reports, graphs and GIS maps.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in data management/analysis and the ability to develop reporting dashboards using Microsoft Excel. Experience in the use of Asset and Document Management systems (eg. Trim) are an advantage. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, that loves working with numbers, is self motivated, can work autonomously and is not afraid to be innovative and explore new ways of do things.
