About the Health & Local Laws Department
This department is part of our Planning, Design & Development Division, and is responsible for delivering a range of services that ensures and encourages Council's compliance with relevant governing legislation. This covers Environmental Health, Animal Management, Local Laws and Parking Compliance.

About the Role
The Parking & Information Services Lead Officer will provide effective leadership to the Parking & Information Services Officers.

The role will patrol streets, roads and other public thoroughfares, monitor and attend to customer requests/complaints and assist the Team Leader to coordinate the inspection, maintenance and replacement of equipment.

What you bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Government (Statutory Compliance) and/or Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services). A current Working with Children Check is also required.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and ability to apply legislation and explain the application to stakeholders.

Extensive experience in the administration and enforcement of the Domestic Animals Act 1994.
