Associate Vice President - Finance Boston Main Campus
The Associate Vice President is responsible for the overall financial operations, space planning, business affairs and compliance of the Office of the Chancellor. The focus of this position ranges from long term strategic business and planning to the day to day financial operations of the division. The Associate Vice President role is not limited to the financial operations of the division, rather it touches upon all functional areas such as operations, business affairs and compliance, and facilities that impact current and long term financial decision making. While financial acumen is critical, the nature of the position also requires skills as a generalist, given the diverse responsibilities of the position. The position has primary responsibility for the development and management of the annual operating and capital budget, and business and space planning process. The Associate Vice President is responsible for the financial control and management of fiscal operations, strategic business planning and capital projects across for the Office of the Chancellor’s operations. This is primarily accomplished through partnership with leadership on strategic business planning and leading a finance team responsible for day to day operations.
Postdoctoral Research Associate Boston Main Campus
The primary duties of postdoctoral research associates at SPIRAL include the advancement of the state of the art in theory and practice in designated research areas, the preparation and execution of experimental paradigms and experiments to test proposed approaches; preparation of scientific publications for dissemination of research results in scholarly venues; assisting the Pis with the preparation of scientific grant proposals for funding, lab management, and graduate student advising.
