About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Vice President and Senior Vice Chancellor, Digital Learning and Mobility Strategy, the Associate Vice President for Corporate Partnerships will assume leadership within the B2B (Business-to-Business) unit, providing the vision, strategy and operational direction to establish an external partnership strategy for Northeastern that supports strategic B2B goals.

Responsibilities:

The associate vice president will be committed to developing our base and growing our pipeline through implementation and execution of a sophisticated strategy, creative planning and problem-solving.He or she will oversee a results-oriented team responsible for executing on NU’s B2B strategy to achieve our ambitious objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business, technology, or engineering required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, including previous experience working with executive-level leaders.
  • Higher education, corporate strategic planning, and/or business partnership development experience required.
  • Progressively responsible leadership in a high-energy environment developing and working with an innovation leadership agenda.
  • Experience leading diverse teams preferred.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Highly-developed communication and presentation skills (written/verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions in a timely manner based on thoughtful analysis and critical judgment.
  • Organizational tact and diplomacy; possesses superb interpersonal skills required to develop close relationships with external partners and key influencers around campus and the broader University.
  • Demonstrated ability to build internal and external collaborations, finding solutions benefiting all parties and focusing on long-term success over short-term results.
  • Ability to serve as an ambassador for the University in the region; representing the Dean and campus strategic interests when appropriate.
