About the Opportunity:

 

The Program Manager will assist the Director, Assistant Director, and Field Director of the Graduate School of Education in providing outstanding program management for GSE programs offered through Northeastern University.

 

Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this position is to ensure quality program delivery and excellent customer service and support to students and faculty, ultimately resulting in a first-class student experience and a life-long learning connection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with three to four years of experience in higher education or K-12 with a high customer service element.
  • Must be able to work well with many constituencies: students, faculty, academic coordinators, program offices from Deans to support staff, as well as participating public school teachers and administrators.
  • Team work and strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Demonstrated well-developed skills related to organizing, prioritizing, and delegating as appropriate. Due to the varying levels at which this role must operate, self-direction, flexibility, hands-on approach, and ability to manage several initiatives and tasks simultaneously are critical for success.
  • Familiarity with teacher preparation requirements is a strong plus in addition to experience working with databases.
