Assistant Professor - School of Nursing - Med. Surg. San Marcos
Located in beautiful North County San Diego, the School of Nursing at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) invites applications for a full-time, academic-year, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning Fall 2027. We seek a dynamic teacher, passionate scholar, and expert clinician who is committed to nursing education. Programs and Teaching Responsibilities The School of Nursing offers both a traditional and an Accelerated BSN program, with classes taught at the San Marcos and Temecula campuses. A fully online ADN/RN-to-BSN program is offered through Extended Learning. A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program for students pursuing Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preparation is offered at the San Marcos Location. It is delivered in a hybrid format that includes both in-person and online instruction.
Director/Professor of Nursing San Marcos
Located in beautiful North County San Diego, the School of Nursing at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) invites applications for a Director of Nursing faculty position, with the appointment beginning in Spring 2027. The School of Nursing at CSUSM offers Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in nursing. Three pathways lead to the BSN: a traditional 4-year program, an accelerated 5-semester program, and a fully online ADN/RN to BSN program for students in community college nursing programs, or practicing RNs who hold an ADN and wish to earn a BSN. The MSN program prepares students for a career as a family nurse practitioner or psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
