The Department of Computer Science at California State University San Marcos (Temecula Campus) seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach CS 310: Social Issues and Professional Practices in Computing. Examines the larger societal context of computing to develop an understanding of the relevant social, ethical, legal and professional issues. Covers social context, professional ethics, intellectual property, privacy, professional communication, safety, reliability, and sustainability. Exposes students to different areas within computer science while developing technology solutions to undesirable effects of computing technology and the internet.
CS 311: Data Structures and Algorithms (Fall 2026) - Extended Learning San Marcos
The Department of Computer Science at California State University San Marcos (Temecula Campus) seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach CS 311: Data Structures and Algorithms. Teaches a thorough understanding of several advanced methods for implementing the abstract data types and the time used by each method. Includes abstract data types such as dictionary, priority queues, matrices, balanced trees, graphs, and relations, as well as, foundation of recursive algorithms, complexity analysis, complexity classes, sorting and searching, computability and undecidability, problem-solving strategies, and heuristic approaches.
Lecturer - HHS: Introduction to Personal Health and Wellness (Fall 2026) San Marcos
The College of Education at California State University San Marcos invites applications for instructors to teach HHS: Introduction to Personal Health and Wellness, a 3-unit course offered at High Tech High School (San Marcos, California).  This is a dual enrolled course offered to high school students for college credit.  This course Introduces the basic principles of health and wellness from a holistic perspective to enhance self-awareness and personal wellness behaviors. Subjects covered include mental, emotional, physical and socio-environmental dimensions of health, sexuality and relationships, nutrition and physical fitness, use and abuse of drugs, health care services and current health problems.

The College of Education at California State University San Marcos invites applications for instructors to teach HHS: Introduction to Health and Wellness Careers, a 3-unit course offered at Rancho Buena Vista High School (Vista, CA).  This is a dual enrolled course offered to high school students for college credit.  This course provides an overview of various allied health and wellness professions within the U.S. health system. Explores the roles, educational requirements, and pathways to specific health and wellness careers. Exposes students to the current health care services, concepts, and the professional characteristics, behaviors, values, skills, and knowledge required for success in allied health and other health and wellness careers.
Lecturer - TA 307: On-Camera Acting (Fall 2026) San Marcos
The Theatre Department at California State University San Marcos is seeking a part-time lecturer in Fall 2026 to teach TA 307: On-Camera Acting. The course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 2:50 pm. The course provides hands-on experience in acting for film and television. Students will work in various genres (e.g., commercials, romantic comedy, drama, etc.) discuss acting techniques as they apply to film performance via practical projects, reading, written assignments and critiques. Applicants must have university teaching experience and must have an MFA or equivalent professional experience.
