The Department of Biological Sciences at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach BIOT 660: Scientific Communication in Industry. Provides insight and practice in the forms of scientific communication including scientific papers, technical reports, presentations, proposals, organizational reporting/reports, and other communication demands found in industry. Students will differentiate between objectives of the various communication purposes and understand key steps and ingredients for effective communication. Emphasizes basic skills for both written and oral communication and provides practice of these principles.
Lecturer Pool - Chemistry and Biochemistry AY 2026/27 San Marcos
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool ad will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st. If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th.
