The purpose of this position is to be the University representative and provide outreach to prospective students who are veterans and academic advising, counseling, certification, and maintenance of academic records for continuing student veterans and veteran dependents. The incumbent is responsible for providing benefit and registration counseling to prospective admits who are veterans and dependents of veterans. The incumbent is also responsible for educational counseling and certification of veteran's educational plans as well as facilitating registration and enrollment for all veterans and dependents eligible for benefits. The incumbent is also responsible for staffing and coordinating services at the Veteran Services Center and providing support to VETS Corner. |
