| The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool ad will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st. If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th. |

| Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role provides support to the Chief of Staff, and Office of the President at the administrative and clerical levels. The incumbent works closely with the Executive Assistant to the President at all levels and provides support and assistance through project collaboration to promote program success in the Office of the President. The responsibilities include: planning, coordinating and supporting, all President's office processes, and assisting in all event coordination. The incumbent is expected to work effectively and collaboratively with frequent face to face interactions while prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines. The position requires a professional, dependable and well-organized individual with initiative, good judgment and excellent interpersonal skills. The incumbent must be capable of successfully interacting with a diverse population of administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
This role supports in processing invoice payments, makes travel arrangements, and processes reimbursement, orders supplies, prepares, and submits requisitions to create purchase orders and assists with events coordination, including scheduling meetings with SF State staff and community members. In addition, the incumbent provides general office support and acts as a liaison between the President’s Office and SFSU campus departments. |
