Associate Director of Financial Aid & Scholarship (Administrator I) East Bay
Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships, the Associate Director of Financial Aid provides leadership and operational oversight for financial aid counseling, student service delivery, scholarship administration, compliance activities, communications, and daily office operations in support of student success and institutional enrollment goals for California State University, East Bay (CSUEB or the University). The Associate Director supervises financial aid staff, coordinates front-line service operations, and assists in ensuring compliance with federal, state, CSU, and institutional financial aid regulations and policies. This position oversees daily financial aid operations including counseling services, case management workflows, scholarship coordination, staff training, communications, and integrated student service efforts with the University One Stop. The Associate Director collaborates extensively with Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, the Director of Student Outreach, Marketing and Communications, and campus partners to improve service delivery, communication processes, and the overall student experience for students, families, and the campus community. Additionally, the Associate Director supports strategic planning, operational assessment, process improvement initiatives, and leadership continuity in the absence of the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
