| The Procurement Professional I is responsible for performing entry-level procurement activities in support of the university’s acquisition of goods, services, information technology, and construction. Working within a centralized campus procurement department and under a limited delegation of purchasing authority, the incumbent applies professional procurement concepts to conduct low-risk, routine, and commodity-based purchases in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as CSU and campus policies and procedures. The position works on smaller projects or programs with minimal supervision on regular assignments and receives direction on new or non-routine work. |
