Assistant Director, Human Resources Communications Chancellor's Office
The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Assistant Director, Human Resources Communications to oversee the planning and implementation of communications to CSU employees through the CSU’s Intranet/digital communications platform, creative campaigns, and informational presentations and documents. This role works in the Integrated Internal Communications team and collaborates closely with the Systemwide Human Resources and Chancellor’s Office Human Resources teams in the Chancellor’s Office. The position will serve a critical role supporting the Integrated Internal Communications as the hub for HR and internal communications systemwide.
Athletic Communications Coordinator (Temporary) East Bay
This role supports CSU East Bay Intercollegiate Athletics by handling sports information, media relations, and event support. The coordinator assists with game day operations (scorekeeping, stats, press row management, supervising student workers), maintains records and historical data, produces press releases and web content, and manages athletic media, including video production, photography, and digital content. They also help organize departmental events like the Student-Athlete Awards Ceremony and Hall of Fame.
Academic Administrative Coordinator East Bay
California State University East Bay's Graduate School of Education is seeking an Administrative Support Coordinator, Level II to provide administrative and clerical support to the departments of Educational Leadership, Educational Psychology, and Teacher Education, which serve approximately 750 students across master’s, doctoral degree and credential programs. This position works closely with the Education department Chairs to support the departments’ programs and students. Duties fall under four categories: clerical support; workload/class schedules; contract, faculty appointments, and payroll; and scholarships. The successful candidate must exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills and critical thinking; advanced knowledge of Excel; and the ability to master various software and data systems used by the University. Essential skills in this high-activity environment include the ability to multi-task; problem solve; organize tasks and projects for maximum efficiency while ensuring accuracy; and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in addition to initiating ownership of projects and tasks as needed. Duties and responsibilities are in support of the day-to-day operations of the Education departments. This position operates independently on a wide array of operations requiring sound judgement, initiative, and the ability to consistently maintain confidentiality while exercising discretion and sensitivity.
