| Under the general supervision of the Conference and Event Services Manager, the Event Services Coordinator is responsible for developing & managing relationships with internal and external clients who utilize university facilities. The Event Service Coordinator will meet the logistical needs of clients through collaboration with all necessary cross-campus departments. The individual will assist in the planning, organizing and implementing of events within Event Services and functions in support of the overall mission and goals of SFSU. The Event Services Coordinator will anticipate problems and develop appropriate solutions by investigating, analyzing and solving operational issues and complaints. This role will also include managing and maintaining accurate inventory control with Facilities Services’, University Police, Enterprise Risk Management, and labor chargeable services. |

Under the general supervision of the AVP of Facilities & Capital Projects, the Supervising Plumber works with and supervises a small group of journey-level plumbers and semi-skilled assistants. The Supervising Plumber is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Plumbing Unit within Facilities Management and Services (FMS). The incumbent may perform a full range of skilled journey-level plumbing maintenance and repair work. The Supervising Plumber is responsible for overseeing the design and installation of plumbing equipment and systems for maintenance and new construction including modification projects. Duties include installation, maintenance, inspection, modification, remodel and repair of mechanical plumbing equipment and fixtures for water, gas, oil, steam, sewage, fire sprinkler/prevention, and refrigeration-related plumbing systems ensure a clean, safe, and attractive learning environment. The incumbent oversees preventive and non-preventive maintenance, oversight of plumbing operations, and program related record-keeping.
