| This position, under general direction serves as the aide to the Department Chair but also works independently to provide essential front-line administrative support to a large academic department. Responsibilities include providing continuity and stability to the central department office; oversight of daily operations; coordination of all confidential personnel matters; scheduling courses; compiling faculty workload and related data; processing curriculum changes, as well as oversight and reconciliation of all aspects of the department budgets. Other duties include administrative, faculty and student support, advisory board and student organization support and public contact. |

| The Anthropology Department in the College of Behavioral and Social Science is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2026-27 academic year. We seek to fill Anthropology courses level 100 through 400 and internships in our four subfields: Archaeology, Biological, Cultural and Museum Studies. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. |
