The Department of Political Science and Global Affairs at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Spring 2026 to teach PSCI 321: Making Public Policy. The course analyzes the process of policy making in the United States, from problem identification through policy formulation, adoption, implementation and evaluation of impact. The analysis is applied to areas such as social policy, health care and inequality.
Lecturer - GBST 301: Constructing Global Identity (Spring 2026) San Marcos
The Department of Political Science and Global Affairs at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Spring 2026 to teach GBST 301: Constructing Global Identity. The course addresses the meaning of global citizenship and its relationship to local, national, and ethnic/racial identities considered from a humanities perspective. Issues covered may include cosmopolitanism, humanitarianism, religion, cultural diasporas/migrations, class, gender, human rights, food, sports, and/or the ethics of travel and tourism.
