- Provide advice on implementation of governance structures and policy to support ongoing effective decision making.
- Proactively monitor, document and report on the progress of any governance related activities
- Drive the development of documentation required for the effective management and operation of committees, including systems to track and action decisions arising from governance meetings, audits, and reviews.
Who you are: A professional with a strong understanding of implementing governance and compliance requirements in a large, complex organisation, comfortable building effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the University to manage governance matters from start to finish, alongside the following skills & experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with extensive relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate high-quality submissions and reports across multiple senior stakeholders, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to prepare clear, professional, and fit-for-purpose documents.
- Confidence in engaging with and influencing senior leaders to ensure timely contributions and accountability.
