Why your role matters

In this position, you will lead and coordinate Agile project practices to ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with organisational priorities.

Working closely with Chapter, Functional and Squad Leads, you will embed and strengthen Agile ways of working across the team. You will oversee project processes and workflows, promoting consistency, transparency and high-quality delivery while ensuring projects remain focused on achieving meaningful outcomes.

You will identify process gaps, recommend enhancements, and implement practical solutions that optimise team performance and delivery capability. You will also contribute to fostering a high-performing Agile culture by supporting and motivating teams and building strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable collaboration and successful outcomes.

Reporting to the Integrated Planning Manager, this role offers the opportunity to influence delivery excellence and contribute to the strategic success of the Future Student portfolio.

  • Specific accountabilities include:
  • Lead and embed Agile ways of working across the three customer-aligned squads, partnering with Chapter, Functional and Squad Leads to ensure consistent application of the Future Student Agile methodology.
  • Own and manage day-to-day Agile workflows, including task triaging, backlog coordination and prioritisation, and clear distribution of information across Chapter, Functional and Squad teams to enable effective and transparent delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to defined Agile processes and governance, proactively identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to strengthen efficiency, collaboration and outcomes

About You:  

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Proven Agile project experience, with an understanding of Agile methodology • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on Agile initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
  • Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including Wrike and MS Office suite is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
