KinCare is a leading national provider of in-home health and wellbeing support. We assist Aged and Disability clients in their own home, helping them to remain independent for as long as possible. We are seeking experienced Disability Professionals to join a dedicated team providing support to People with a Disability in their home and in the community. Travel will required around Taree, Forster and surrounding suburbs.
As a KinCare Disability Support Worker, you will be required to travel to our Customer’s homes providing them with impressive and personalised support.
The core duties are to provide the following assistance;
Assistance with self-care activities (showering, dressing, grooming & toileting)
Community, social & recreational activities
Assistance with daily life
Incidental domestic tasks
We have the following Permanent Part time opportunities to join our Special Care team who provide personal/complex care, domestic assistance, and social support:
Shift 1 - Wednesday to Sunday - Availability - Wednesday to Friday 8am - 4pm. Saturday and Sunday 7am - 1pm
Shift 2 - Monday to Friday - Availability 8am-5pm
To be considered:
Certificate III or IV in Disability (Highly Desirable)
Experience with working with high and low care disabilities
Current Australian Driver’s License
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Registered Vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
Smart Mobile and Internet Access
DCSI Clearance (Highly recommended or willingness to obtain)
