KinCare are seeking a passionate Registered Nurses to join our passionate team in the community, positively impacting our Customers quality of life by providing them with care they need within their own home. You will specialise in comprehensive continence assessments and also provide education to our Aged and Disability customers identifying cause and creating treatment plans.  You will also provide assistance in applications for appropriate continence aides through subsidy and funding schemes.

All of our Community Registered Nurses are devoted to delivering exceptional customer care, enabling our clients to live as independently as possible and energising each one to live their best life.  This role will see you travel around the Magill, Prospect, Salisbury & Hope Valley areas.

About the role:

You will be an invaluable support to our Aged and Disability Customers by providing well-being checks, vital signs, falls risk, nutrition screen as well as continence assessments, CAPS application, product selection and catheter care.

Help coach our customers into a healthier way of life through eating well, staying active, taking medicines, quitting smoking and help self-manage conditions like diabetes. You will also be responsible for providing a Holistic Clinical approach to our customer's health and wellbeing which will involve liaising with families and General Practitioners.

Essential requirements:

  • Current RN registration/qualification with AHPRA
  • Community or Aged Care Nursing experience
  • Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Access to the internet and a smartphone
  • Competent in chronic wound care management
  • Must have experience in male and female catheterisation
