Job Duties

  • Act as an interface between the HR Functional Heads and more junior country or project HR executives; guide the team to deliver and implement HR plans, policies and processes
  • Understand the organization wide capability requirements and skill gaps from a short to long term perspective; Guide the more junior country or project HR executives to enhance capability levels through effective learning interventions
  • Support high potential (Hi-Po) talent development in all businesses and building of future leaders through robust succession planning
  • Engage with Senior Management to drive a performance driven culture in LAIO, reward and recognize strong contributors to business and support execution of processes related to appraisals, promotions, increments, etc.
  • Monitor compliance with the various government regulations and state laws and take corrective action as required
  • In conjunction with the Executive General Manager/Business Unit Head, identify, review and monitor short-term and long-term HR objectives & initiatives that would enable the business to deliver on its goals of winning and delivering projects; Develop and implement a HR strategic plan aligned with business requirements
  • Collaborate with the HR Executives (Country / Project) and LAIO HR Functional Heads and provide leadership, governance and direction for all key HR initiatives
  • Ensure that the HR functions throughout the business are appropriately resourced by monitoring the standard of personnel and ensuring that suitably qualified and competent personnel are employed
  • Ensure that the LAIO values are promoted and reinforced by the business leaders through business planning and the people plans
  • Monitor employee engagement levels in LAIO; drive engagement initiatives and healthy employee relations 
  • Evaluate performance of subordinates, provide candid feedback and coach them to higher levels of performance
  • Train and mentor subordinates on technical as well as behavioural aspects of their respective roles

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with major in HR or related field, Master’s degree is an advantage
  • More than 10 years of experience in HR related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR management position, managing an HR team for a company with headcount > 250.
  • Regional experience would be an added advantage
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills
