  • The VET Officer will coordinate the planning, delivery and reporting of the vocational education and training activities

The Program

Australia, through Aus4Skills under Aus4Vietnam, is supporting Vietnam to build the human resource capacity it needs to take advantage of emerging economic opportunities, achieve long term development, and respond to and recover from COVID-19.

Aus4Skills includes the prestigious Australia Awards Scholarships as well as Promoting Industry Linkages with Vocational Education and Training; Capacity Building for Higher Education; and to be established Vietnam Australia Centre.

The Position

Reporting to the VET Manager, the VET Officer will coordinate the planning, delivery and reporting of the vocational education and training activities of Aus4Skills through administrative, financial and logistical support.

They will also contribute to the program’s stakeholder engagement, governance, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, risk management, and communications.

The Person

You will have:

  • Good organisational skills and good problem-solving ability as well as be able to prioritise and complete simultaneous projects
  • At least two years of experience in projects, human resource development or education administration in an international context
  • Professional experience with supporting the planning and delivery of a variety of events, including short courses, workshops, conferences and seminars in Vietnam and Australia

This position is locally engaged and reserved for National Citizens of Vietnam.
