About the role

 This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with a business development mindset who is looking to thrive within a friendly and dynamic team.

The primary purpose of this position is to attract, identify and select candidates to fill short and long-term positions on international development projects, both current and prospective. You will support and advise on how to best construct teams and present them to the client including drafting of CVs and relevant sections of bids. The role requires you to expand Tetra Tech’s network of consultants and advisers in target sectors and countries and proactively identify talent for future opportunities. You will also support various activities relating to the project cycle, assisting in business development and relationship management; and supporting project management activities as needed. You will work with clients such as the European Commission (EC) or the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office; and with other practices and offices across TetraTech.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identification and selection of the consultants suitable for particular assignments
  • Composing teams, negotiating fee rates, checking references, conducting due diligence
  • Contracting
  • CV editing/ tailoring
  • Supporting teams in various project management activities
  • Taking part in other business development activities related to new bids

About you

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree
  • Already resides or is willing to relocate to Poland, Warsaw
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written); knowledge of Polish, French or Spanish an advantage
  • Interest in EC or FCDO funded development programs, working experience in the development / corporate sector is desirable but not obligatory
  • Ability to think logically and possess skills in problem identification and resolution
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, ability to work not only as a team member but also with limited supervision
  • Strong focus on delivery
  • Good knowledge of a Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Good commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload including when under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail, resourceful and problem solving orientated
  • Previous experience in recruitment is desirable but not obligatory
