We are seeking Trade Qualified Electricians looking to join the Rio Hope Downs 1 team FIFO from Perth to Newman, on an even time 14&14 Days Only Roster. You’ll be joining a small but established maintenance team with the position available now. The role would suit Electricians that come from an Domestic, Commercial or Appliance background.

$106,696 Gross Per Annum + Allowances + Super

THE POSITION

• Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Typical work day includes planned & preventative maintenance, attending and assessing breakdowns, fault finding, troubleshooting including test, tag, isolating etc.
• Working in remote Mine Site Accommodation Villages including Temporary and Permanent housing, Kitchens, Rooms, Dining, Offices etc.
• Additional Allowances available such as On Call Allowance, Call Outs, Nominee Allowance, Leading Hand, First Aid (if applicable).

THE PERSON

• Current WA Electrical Unrestricted Licence, or working towards
• C Class Driving Licence
• Police Check & CPR+LVR within 12 months
• Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Rio Inductions to be conducted in Jandakot + Midvale prior to mobilisation - costs covered by Compass
• FIFO from Perth Airport for permanent ongoing rosters
